Bill Gian is internationally recognized for his contemporary paintings and installations in public art. Through the creative direction of the International Art Parks team, Gian transforms steel and concrete into magical spaces of play and wonder. From contemporary steel objects and furniture, to the 350 foot long concrete sea serpent at the Arvada Center for the Arts in Colorado, Gian's whimsical vision entertains thousands from all age groups. Through museums such as the Guggenheim and American Folk Art in New York, as well as the Museum of Contemporary Art in L.A., Bill Gian has been recognized for design work on everything from garments to monuments. His award winning creations have been featured in broadcast television and in print internationally in publications such as Landscape Architecture Magazine, People, Ornament and El Universal. Bill Gian has won the respected Landscape Architecture Award for Excellence and The Starburst Award for public art projects.
